The Dealer Model is Broken.

We know the games the big corporations play. We built the DEFENDR Subdealer program to fix them.

Traditional Dealer Programs

The traditional model treats reps like disposable lead generators. You do all the hard work, and the corporate giants reap all the long-term rewards.

  • Zero Account Ownership: You sell the account for a one-time payout, but they keep the customer—and the monthly revenue—forever.
  • Brutal Chargebacks: If a customer cancels in month 11, you owe the company thousands of dollars back. It's a constant cycle of debt.
  • Proprietary Junk: You are forced to sell locked-down equipment that causes high attrition and frustrates customers.
  • Moving Goalposts: Constantly changing compensation plans that make it impossible to build real wealth.

The DEFENDR Partnership

We act as your backend fulfillment partner. You are the boss. You keep your customers and you build long-term recurring revenue.

  • Build Long-Term Wealth: You own the accounts and the monthly recurring revenue (RMR). Sell a customer once, get paid every month for years.
  • No Chargebacks: Customers pay upfront (or via Square) for equipment. If they cancel, you don't lose your shirt. No clawbacks.
  • Elite Hardware: Sell top-tier universal systems like Napco and AJAX that customers actually want and can easily take with them.
  • True Partnership: Simple, transparent wholesale monitoring rates. Your retail markup is 100% your margin.

How The Program Works

We provide the backend. You focus on sales and growth.

1

Wholesale Access

Get immediate access to wholesale pricing on top-tier equipment and UL-listed professional monitoring starting at just $10/mo for basic monitoring and $15/mo for mobile app features. No inflated account creation fees.

2

Set Your Margins

You control the retail price for your customers. The difference between wholesale and your retail rate is your monthly recurring revenue (RMR). Bill them your way, or let us handle the billing and pass the difference to you.

3

We Handle The Rest

DEFENDR handles the 24/7 central station monitoring, compliance, and backend infrastructure. You focus entirely on sales and growing your legacy. If you need us to handle technical support, we can do that too.

Program Terms & Requirements

We keep things simple and straightforward. Here are the core requirements and terms to partner with DEFENDR.

You must hold a minimum of an Installer's License in the state(s) you operate in, unless you are strictly selling systems as DIY self-setups. A full business "B-License" is not required to partner with us under our umbrella.

Your job is to close the customer and complete the installation. Our job is to handle the 24/7 central station monitoring, bill the customer, and send your monthly residual payouts (minus the base wholesale monitoring fees).

To protect the end-user, if your business closes, goes bankrupt, or defaults on obligations, DEFENDR will assume direct management of your accounts to ensure the customer experiences zero interruption in their life-safety monitoring services.

Partners act as independent contractors (1099). You are not an employee of DEFENDR SECURITY. You control your own schedule, your own sales methods, and your own business entity.

To qualify and maintain active standing in the DEFENDR Partner Program, partners should generate a minimum of 10 new accounts per month. We are looking for motivated professionals ready to build a serious business.

You keep 100% of the upfront equipment margins. DEFENDR does not claw back equipment costs because we do not finance the hardware. Customers must pay you upfront, or utilize our Square/Afterpay options.

You own your customer list. We will never actively solicit, upsell, or cross-sell your customer base without your explicit permission, except for required monitoring compliance communications.

You have the right to leave the program. If you wish to port your accounts to a different central station in the future, you may do so with a standard 30-day written notice, provided your account is in good financial standing.

DEFENDR is a backend fulfillment partner, not an aggregator. We do not purchase accounts if you want to leave the business or sell your portfolio. You are responsible for finding an external company to buy your accounts. Alternatively, you may choose to formally release the accounts to us, and we will continue providing service to your customers with no questions asked.

What you need to know to sell your accounts to an aggregator:
  • Contracts: You primarily need solid industry-form written contracts with subscribers. Contracted Monitoring Accounts command a multiple of 30 to 34 times the recurring monthly revenue (RMR), whereas Verbal Monitoring Accounts are valued significantly lower at 18 to 22 times RMR due to higher risk.
  • Documentation: Ensure you have accurate financial documentation, including financial statements and verified RMR/EBITDA estimates, to make the business attractive to buyers.
  • Post-Closing Conversion: You must prepare for a post-closing conversion period if any accounts remain on verbal agreements, negotiating for the buyer to pay the full contract value once those accounts are successfully converted to written contracts.
